Poultry

In the past, the use of flavors in poultry feeding was not common because the animals have a small number of taste buds. The use of flavors could be expected economically meaningful effects barely. With the development of functional flavors that effect the digestive process, the situation has changed significantly. The observed increased feed intake by the use of digestarom is, according to the state of the MICRO-PLUS research, less by the positive effect on the taste of digestarom rather than on so-called humoral circulation. The increased production of endogenous digestive secretions and the improve of metabolic conversion of the feed ingredients of poultry stimulates the appetite.

The physiological implementation of the feed is improved by the use of digestarom.
As with other species the protein and fat digestion is positively influenced by digestarom. Scientific evidence is that when using digestarom the animal from the ration the available quantity of crude protein and thus the amount of essential amino acids increases. Clinical data show that in the blood of broilers fed with digestarom the concentration of urea by the same higher total protein content is significantly lower than in comparison groups who received the same diet without the additive. Both figures clearly point to a better protein utilization.
digestarom increases the absorption of vitamins and minerals and promotes bone density and vitality. This fact is especially useful for fast-growing poultry is of great importance.
The increased storage of fat soluble vitamins and their precursors form in eggs accumulate the basis for a better performance in reproduction and increase the hatching rate.
Due to the optimized performance digestive digestarom® stabilized indirectly the intestinal bacterial flora, thereby reducing the likelihood of incorrect digestion and diarrhea.
A positive side effect: a drier litter, respectively less manure. The overall drier faeces with lower nitrogen content is a very positive impact on air quality in the receiving barn as well as on the land, or the groundwater.
