The positive influences of digestarom on the digestion processes and thus on the vitality of the animals have been confirmed in many trials. Our product digestarom 1310, which is successfully used for sows, has recently been tested in boars and now we have received the attached field report. The insemination station reported here belongs to the ”Nort-Gruppe" in Germany, which has about 900 stock boars. The farm, based in the town of Sontra, which carried out the experiment used about 80 boars supplemented with digestarom 1310 in the feed.
It is without doubt of particular value to receive such a report from a practical trial conducted over a period of several months at a commercial facility.

Translation of the practitioner's report:
Dear Dr. Weiland,
I would like to follow up on your request for feedback on our experiences with digestarom 1310. As you know from various phone conversations of late, we will now use digestarom throughout because overall the condition and performance of our boars has improved. A confirmation of this "general feeling" was provided by our veterinary officer at his latest review in early October. He found it particularly noteworthy that the boars, compared to his visit in February, were more lively, the testicles were remarkably firm and the animals were in good nutritional condition. As you have emphasized to us, digestarom improves animal vitality. This we can confirm. However, it should be noted that it took 3 to 4 months from the start of feeding before the effect were really observed.
Particular highlights:
-Reduced feed usage was possible
-Obvious optimal digestion as faeces were of ideal consistency
-No adverse seasonal effect on the viability / motility of sperm
-Tendency for a slightly higher sperm yield
On the occasion of the forthcoming routine veterinary check, we will take the opportunity to conduct a metabolic investigation on some of the animals. Of course, I will inform you regarding the results.
Thank you for the opportunity to work together.
Sincerely,
Karl Großkurth
