Our associates at PEAK POINT PERMANENT Co. Ltd, Thailand, organised a seminar entitled "Practical Application of digestarom for Swine Efficiency” on Februar 2nd, 2010.
The ban of anti-microbial growth promoters and the focus of the industry on alternatives raised growing interest on the product line, digestarom. One of the most prominent researchers in Asia, Professor Jowaman Khajarern, Faculty of Agriculture Khon Kaen University, Thailand, had conduced trials with digestarom which have shown statistical significant improvements in performance, health and well-being by sows and piglets. Delegates at the seminar learned more about the range of application and benefits of digestarom in a lecture held by Professor Jowaman. The superior properties of digestarom mean that swine producers now have the opportunity to improve production uniformity under stress or disease challenge and maximise profitability. The researchers determined besides the zoo technical data, a significant improvement in meat quality. In this respect the data are in accordance to similar findings in West and Eastern Europe.
Other seminars will be offered to the feed industry on February 27 and March 3rd.
